A Traditional Holiday Celebration of Joy and Beauty on Sunday, December 27, at Trinity-on-Main in New Britain and Facebook Live at 5 p.m. (EST). Our featured guest artist will be Pianist Aymeric Dupré la Tour.
Now more than ever, we need music that warms the heart and helps keep feelings of hope alive as we prepare to ring in the New Year. The Virtuosi Christmas Concert – A Traditional Holiday Celebration of Joy and Beauty will include a selection of Polish and English Christmas music, as well as festive waltzes by Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s joyful “Symphony #29 in A Major”, and Franz Schubert’s melodious compositions for violin and strings.

Aymeric, a native of Lyon, France, studied at the Conservatoire National de Région. He earned an Artist Diploma in organ and a Master of Music in historical performance at Oberlin College, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Juilliard School. His performances on harpsichord, organ, piano, and celesta have taken him across France, the United States, Canada, and South America. Aymeric is principal for harpsichord/organ/piano for the Chamber Orchestra of New York. Last year, he performed in Connecticut Lyric Opera’s production of Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Baroque opera “Daphnis et Eglé”.
