Stephanie Ruddy has been playing/studying classical violin for almost 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Hartford and Suzuki Method teaching certification from the Hartt Suzuki Institute. In addition to teaching, she is a freelance performing violinist for various orchestras and chamber groups in Connecticut, and 1st violinist at Danbury Symphony Orchestra. She’s also a Suzuki parent, with two little ones of her own at home learning violin and cello. Her teaching study embodies nurture and empathy, with positive reinforcement being the key to success. She welcomes students of all ages, all neurodevelopmental abilities and as young as 3.
