Charter Oak Quartet plays Schubert’s “Death and Maiden”

The Charter Oak String Quartet, consisting of Adrian Sylveen (violin), Sandro Ladu (violin), Jonathan Kane (viola), and Zack Sears (cello), commences their residency at the Church with a captivating performance. The first program artfully blends the classical and contemporary, featuring Schubert’s timeless “Death and Maiden” quartet. Additionally, in the program, Jonathan Kane’s “Mystic” Quartet and the premiere of Sylveen’s evocative Duet “Unresolved” for Violin and Viola.

This inaugural concert at the FPC marks the beginning of a promising musical journey for the ensemble within the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra community, representing the first out of three planned performances this year.
