Mozart: Coronation Mass

Sunday, April 14 @ 1:00 pm

Prepare to be transported to an era of grandeur and celestial harmonies! Join us for the beautiful Coronation Mass by Mozart, a luminous gem that has thrilled audiences for nearly 250 years. The concert features the Moniuszko Choir, Soloists Mary McCue, soprano; Allison Lindsay – alto; Ed Napier – tenor; Dariusz Ocetek – bass; and the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra players. One of Mozart’s most beloved works, the Coronation Mass (Krönungsmesse) resonates with both earthly splendor and spiritual fervor. Composed in 1779, it captures the essence of regal coronations and divine blessings.
